Swellegant, elegant it's the California Crooners Club!

Born from late night banter between talented friends Hugh Sheridan, Emile Welman and Gabe Roland backstage in the jazz clubs of Hollywood. The idea behind the California Crooners Club was simple, merge the trios love of jazz standards and their crooning style of singing with a little modern rap and a shared passion for great contemporary pop songs.
Think Sinatra sings Sia or Dean Martin meets Diplo. California Crooners Club has swagger and style - they sing, they swing, they groove and they move.

Born originally in Australia, South Africa and America, the trio have all now made Los Angeles home. They arrived there with a long list of native achievements to their credit. Hugh most known for his work as an actor in Australia where he won three silver Logies as televisions “Most Popular Actor”. Emile topped musical charts in South Africa that led him to Los Angeles via the soundtrack to Clint Eastwood film “Invictus”. Gabe is the musical anchor of the group whose production talents reeled him cross country from Kansa City to Tinsel Town.

Gabe’s production skill has taken the trios flair for singing and writing and given birth to the debut single “Just A Little More”. The song is an infectious narrative of how the California Crooners Club formed plus a rambunctious feel good encouragement for every listen to simply go for it.

California Crooners Club will debut their live show February 2016 in Hugh’s hometown at the Adelaide Fringe festival . They will start with a season at the prestigious Mortlock Chamber of the State Library of SA. Next up will be Sydney and Melbourne for exclusive launch shows and then back to Adelaide to close out the Fringe Festival at Glutonny in the park March 8th – March 14th.
